Operations Team
Operations is the “body” of our company. They are responsible for the safe handling, freight resolution and processing of our client’s product. Operations manages the workflow to ensure that operational and customer delivery commitments are met daily at the least possible cost.
Transportation Team
Transportation is the “blood” of our company. This team is responsible for managing the flow of merchandise throughout SCM’s network. It links the store shelf to the place where products originate.
Support Team
The support department’s work with operations to ensure quality and the security of warehouse transport operations. As a support department, Human Resources is responsible for all staffing, employee relations and training and development.
National Group
The National Group, including the Senior Leadership Group, is located in Mississauga, Ontario. It is the head office for SCM and provides support and expertise to the entire network in key areas, such as transport management, customer service, human resource management, accounting, loss prevention, safety, quality assurance, training and development, and information systems. Key decisions, including the Policy and Strategic direction of the Company are determined at this level.
Our Sites
Our sites operate as individual entities under the direction of the National Group. Aligned to the customer, the site management and Team Members work together to establish key goals for their group to continually improve the quality and cost of service and to assist the corporation in achieving its goals.
